Hello, new to the list, and new to Xen, so apologies if this is a stupid
question.

Has anybody had any success booting a Kubuntu/Ubuntu Live CD on a HVM
guest and connecting to it with VNC? The VM refuses to start X when I try
- same result with stdvga=0 or 1 - so I can connect but only see a
console. If I boot the CD with safe VGA mode, it works fine.

Any advice? Obviously I can install in Safe vga mode and then connect
using Free NX or similar, but it's annoying to remember to do that...
I installed Ubuntu 8.04 as an HVM guest in safe graphics mode and then once it is installed the graphics works fine.
  Cheers, Todd
