Thanks for sharing the script. I tried it on my CentoS 5.1 with Xen 3.2 and it fails with Traceback (most recent call last): File "/root/bin/xen-stats.py", line 97, in ? domains = xend.domains_with_state(True, 'all', True) File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xmlrpclib.py", line 1096, in __call__ return self.__send(self.__name, args) File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/xen/util/xmlrpcclient.py", line 118, in __request response = xmlrpclib.ServerProxy.__request(self, methodname, params) File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xmlrpclib.py", line 1383, in __request verbose=self.__verbose File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xmlrpclib.py", line 1129, in request self.send_content(h, request_body) File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xmlrpclib.py", line 1243, in send_content connection.endheaders() File "/usr/lib/python2.4/httplib.py", line 798, in endheaders self._send_output() File "/usr/lib/python2.4/httplib.py", line 679, in _send_output self.send(msg) File "/usr/lib/python2.4/httplib.py", line 646, in send self.connect() File "/usr/lib/python2.4/httplib.py", line 630, in connect raise socket.error, msg socket.error: (111, 'Connection refused') You write it's for 3.1.*, so that might be the reason. However, the refused rpc connection looks more like a portmap/tcpwrapper configuration problem. portmap is on and running and nfs is working for instance. What would I need to allow to accept that specific connection?
