Hi,

recent xen kernels are trying to assign a console on xvc0 instead of tty1.

I don't know the fastboot parameter, but try to use
extra = "xencons=tty1"
or ...
extra = "fastboot xencons=tty1"

alternatively, add a getty on xvc0 to your guests inittab and
add xvc0 to /etc/securetty
