Also have xen installed on x3650 with PV guests. I am using the kernel that comes with xen, 2.6.18-8. Quoting Luiz Angelo Daros de Luca <luizluca@xxxxxxxxx>: I'm using x3650 with opensuse10.3 for some time. No problems here. In Opensuse10.2 I had problems with network driver bnx2. Updating the firmware and the driver solved the problem. 2008/3/17, HA <jiecho@xxxxxxxx>:Hi,all, Is there anyone which installed xen on ibm system x3650? I read a link from redhat: http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/FAQ_46_10304.shtm That is running xen guests on System x3950 is not recommended. I installed rhel5.1 x86_64 on a ibm system x3650 with xen kernel, but I can not install guest with paravirtualizing, the guest os include rhel5.1 32/64bit rhel4.5/32bit the guest crashed when the guest install rpm packages, about 10% percent. I checked the xen log: [2008-03-17 19:34:46 xend.XendDomainInfo 4485] WARNING (XendDomainInfo:923) Domain has crashed: name=rhel51x32 id=16. [2008-03-17 19:34:46 xend.XendDomainInfo 4485] DEBUG (XendDomainInfo:1557) XendDomainInfo.destroy: domid=16 [2008-03-17 19:34:46 xend.XendDomainInfo 4485] DEBUG (XendDomainInfo:1566) XendDomainInfo.destroyDomain(16) so could you please give some suggestion?can I run xen on system x3650 stablly? or is there anything I should do with xen?many thanks for your great help! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users-- Luiz Angelo Daros de Luca luizluca@xxxxxxxxx ICQ: 19290419 I Know, "Where you wanted to go today", but I decided to stop here instead!
