Hi,

I'm using xen-3.1 and 3.2 with the Intel DQ35MP(ICH).

The problem is, that u have to use a kernel >2.6.19 (coz the ICH9 chipset isn't
supported before )
i'm using the "hg clone
http://hg.et.redhat.com/kernel-dev/ehabkost/linux-2.6.21-xen-3.1.0"; kernel
which works fine for me.
Another problem ist the onboard-nic (e1000) which isn't in the actual
stock-kernel (2.6.23) so u have to build the module-driver from intel.com.

Betreff: [Xen-users] [Q]Are Intel's ICH9 chipsets supported by xen-3.2?

Hi All,

I found it very difficult to get Xen-3.1 up on a a machine with
Intel's ICH9 family of disk controllers :-(.

Is the ICH9 support really there in xen-3.2 ?
I tried but was not successful in booting even xen-3.2 from xen.org.

Did anyone have a success? Or any help on what extra config options I
need to pass while compiling a domain0 from xen sources?

Thanks,
