I Agree.
But it is not a big project (in terms of complexity and investment). The 
main goal of the server is to run a database (on linux). Since its 
hardware will be a little idle, I decided to virtualize (it`s my first 
virtualization install out of my test lab). So, some hundred USD for 
just a complement function of the server would not be the case.

In really, no much load on windows. I will run just one win2003 server 
for 3 or 4 clients to connect via terminal service and run office, 
browser and ERP.
The database (firebird) and file server (samba) will run on Linux.
