I asked that because I'd like to distribute virtual machines created with xen: it won't be possible to distribute xen vm images to windows hosts... I mean with vmware it's very easy but with xen it's very hard.

suggestions?

Thanks,

Marco

The OS kernel must be aware of the hypervisor in order for it to work and since no one in the community is blessed with the Windows source, Windows hasn't been modified as needed. I have read several articles lately stating that Mircosoft is working with Novell and the next Windows Server release will have special Xen capabilities. I can't remember if it was able to be a Dom0 or a PV DomU.
