You need to build an initrd against the 2.6.18-xen modules. I don't use suse, but I would imagine its not all that much different than : mkinitrd -o /boot/initrd-2.6.18-xen 2.6.18-xen Or mkinitramfs, again I'm not sure what suse packages. Your initrd is a set of specific modules you (and only your) computer needs to boot, and those modules are specific to the kernel they were compiled with. It can't possibly be distributed since its so specific.
