ok Thanks I have all interfaces up and running now without any issues in the log files. Though my eth0 interface doesnt obtain its ip address from gentoo. Do you know where to staticly set eth0 when booting up in xen kernel? Thanks for your help once again. it was Iproute and brigde utils that was missing! You might also need the bridge-utils.Regards Dominik Friedrich Nietzsche schrieb:Thanks found the issue atleast, here is what I get: xentest scripts # which ipwhich: no ip in (/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.1.1:/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.1.1)but I have iputils installed: xentest scripts # emerge --search iputils Searching...
