I am trying to boot the Xen kernel in Gentoo after having followed the instructions found at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Xen_and_Gentoo.  I am using a Dell Latitude D820 laptop with BIOS version A4.  I've tried enabling and disabling the Intel VMX extensions, and I've tried setting RC_NET_STRICT_CHECKING in /etc/conf.d/rc to "lo", but all to no avail.  Does anyone have suggestions on how I can fix this?

Thank you,
Jeff
