Installing Xen (From source + modules) is not going to install the areca
driver (arcmsr.ko) .. you'll need to build / copy it into place then
remake your initrd.

The 2.6.16.29 kernel does not have them by default. Be sure to build
them with the compiler used to build the kernel, if using binary
packages.

The drivers themselves can be downloaded from Areca, and have very good
instructions on how to install in or out of the kernel build.

I have 5 of those cards in use, I am very, very happy with them :)
