Is this a bug or am I misconfiguring xen? (BTW: using 3.0.3 on a C2Duo 6300, under latest Ubuntu, 1gb ram.) If i use tap:aio thusly: disk = [ 'tap:aio:/media/hda8/win2k.img,hda,w','file:/media/hda8/win2k.iso,hdc:cdrom,r' ] as suggested by the online documentation, i get a disc size of 0meg and i'm unable to install onto the disc (it's reported as 0meg by the 'bios', by xm dmesg and by the OS installer). But if i use: disk = [ 'file:/media/hda8/win2k.img,hda,w','file:/media/hda8/win2k.iso,hdc:cdrom,r' ] as deprecated by the documentation, it works. What's up with tap:aio? The documentation suggests it's much better than the 'file' mechanism. -- ystm101@xxxxxxxxxxx -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Faster than the air-speed velocity of an unladen european swallow _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
