Uff, that's quite a lot. Sorry, I have no time to parse it completely
now, and didn't see anything obviously wrong.

Maybe it's just that mandriva's packages are broken, and you should
try xen from sources, or the xensource binries.

Did you try the demo cd - can you run a vm with it?
