Do I need to patch my kernel ? i use lvm2 (2.01.04-5) on a plain sarge with kernel 2.6.8 and snapshots work without problems. I also use lvm2 on sarge with other kernels (2.6.12, 2.6.16) and i've found out some problems. If there is to few free memory, sometimes snapshots can't be created. My workaround is, when creating a snapshot fails, i try it again. Within five tries it normaly works. It's not nice but it works for me. -- greetings eMHa Attachment:
