This does appear to be a recurring issue where the root cause has not been identified. Logs have been no help and strace'ing the process did nothing but give me a headache. >From: "Henning Sprang" <henning_sprang@xxxxxx> >To: "J J" <skrats3@xxxxxxxxxxx> >CC: xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: Re: [Xen-users] Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected. >Hotplug scripts not working. >Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2006 11:59:56 +0200 > >On 7/27/06, J J <skrats3@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> >>I am getting this error when doing an xm create. >>[root@xen scripts]# udevmonitor & >>[root@xen scripts]# xm create -c jj >>Using config file "/etc/xen/jj". >>UEVENT[1153956764.945952] add@/devices/xen-backend/vbd-13-2049 >>UEVENT[1153956775.318771] remove@/devices/xen-backend/vbd-13-2049 >>Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected.
