I've hit a bit of a roadblock getting a domU operating under FC4. The last few lines on the console are: Creating /dev Starting udev Loading jbd.ko module Loading ext3.ko module Creating root device Mounting root filesystem kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Switching to new root unmounting old /proc unmounting old /sys exec of init (/sbin/init) failed!!!: 2 Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! dom0 is operating fine: >xm list Name ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State Time(s) Domain-0 0 1065 2 r----- 3707.7 Relevant info in the domU config file is: kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16-xen" ramdisk = "/boot/initrd-domU" disk = [ 'file:/xen/XEN-1,sdb1,w' ] root = "/dev/sdb1 rw" fstab entry in the domU image is: /dev/sdb1 / ext3 defaults 1 1 This doesn't appear to be a module or initrd problem as the console indicates that the root filesystem mounted ok but something is stopping the box from successfully executing init. Any input greatly appreciated. FL _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
