Add "nics = 2" option is the dom-u config file and check whether you get the Mac address error or not whilecreating dom-U. Pls keep in mind this option is deprecated, but would work fine. liyaq04 wrote:Yes, I didn't assign a Mac address for the eth1 interface. But it doesn't work, which state is inactive. And then I hoped to active it. "eth1's MAC is unexpected and ignored " occurred and it failed. So I tried to assign theMac of the eth1 and it failed again. You need not configure MAC address for interfaces. Let xen choose arandom mac address. I am not sure whether you can assign mac address andinterface name statically for the second NIC. liyaq04 wrote:Hi,Sadique: Thanks a lot. But when I configure the MAC of the eth1, a problemoccurred: I can't active the eth1,"eth1's MAC is unexpected and ignored".My XenU's configure file is following: "vif = [ '' ] vif = [ '' ] " Thanks ! Any way the nics option is deprecated in xen-3.0.2 and you need to use an empty vif entry instead. vif = [ '' ] Though deprecated the "nics" option would work.
