Hi all,

I was going to compile a xen friendly libc6 when I saw a libc6-xen on
the etch repository.
How do I use it?
I installed it but I'm still getting the /lib/tls glibc libraries warning.
What is this package for?

these are the steps I have followed previously,
***************************
apt-get build-dep libc6
apt-get source libc6

edit the file debian/rules adding
'-mno-tls-direct-seg-refs' a BUILD_CFLAGS y HOST_CFLAGS.

dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot

now in dom0 and domU's
dpkg -i libc6_2.3.6-7_i386.deb
dpkg -i libc6-dev_2.3.6-7_i386.deb
dpkg -i libc6-xen_2.3.6-7_i386.deb
dpkg -i locales_2.3.6-7_all.deb

and now tag the packets so they won't get upgraded.

echo "libc6 hold" | dpkg --set-selections
echo "libc6-dev hold" | dpkg --set-selections
echo "libc6-xen hold" | dpkg --set-selections
echo "locales hold" | dpkg --set-selections
***************************

but if there's an easier way I'd sure like to know.

Thanks.
Chris.
