I successfully installed xen3.0 on my machines. However there are a few problems when I try to create a new domain! The procedure I've followed is pretty much the same as given on pages 4-5 on; http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_xen3_debian_p4 On doing a ' xm create -c /etc/xen/vm1-config.sxp vmid=1' the following is what parts of the trace look like: NET: Registered protocol family 20 Using IPI No-Shortcut mode EXT2-fs warning (device hda1): ext2_fill_super: mounting ext3 filesystem as ext2 VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly. Freeing unused kernel memory: 168k freed 8250: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted. 8250: Unknown symbol uart_get_baud_rate 8250: Unknown symbol uart_resume_port 8250: Unknown symbol uart_register_driver 8250: Unknown symbol uart_suspend_port 8250: Unknown symbol uart_remove_one_port 8250: Unknown symbol uart_update_timeout 8250: Unknown symbol uart_unregister_driver 8250: Unknown symbol uart_get_divisor 8250: Unknown symbol uart_match_port 8250: Unknown symbol uart_add_one_port 8250: Unknown symbol uart_write_wakeup modprobe: FATAL: Error inserting 8250 (/lib/modules/2.6.16-xen/kernel/drivers/serial/8250.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) INIT: version 2.86 booting * Files under mount point '/dev/shm' will be hidden. Any sort of help would be appreciated! I've been stuck here since pretty long :( Regards, Hardeep -- hardeep Attachment:
