Trying to connect my dom0 to the network. I am using FC5 for my dom0. When I boot to my regular FC5 my wireless and LAN NICs work, so I know connectivity isn't the issue. I just need help to get connectivity working (primarily wireless, but will settle for using physical) when I boot up to FC5xen0. Here is some output that I hope helps: 'uname -a' command: Linux fc5laptop 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5xen0 #1 SMP Tue Mar 14 16:23:33 EST 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux 'ifconfig' command: eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:07:0E:B9:83:4E inet6 addr: fe80::207:eff:feb9:834e/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:1177 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:12 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:106037 (103.5 KiB) TX bytes:2520 (2.4 KiB) lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:2270 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:2270 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:2758766 (2.6 MiB) TX bytes:2758766 (2.6 MiB) peth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF inet6 addr: fe80::fcff:ffff:feff:ffff/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:5915 errors:7949 dropped:0 overruns:1512 frame:6437 TX packets:130 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:17 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:455070 (444.4 KiB) TX bytes:22634 (22.1 KiB) Interrupt:16 Base address:0xd100 vif0.0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF inet6 addr: fe80::fcff:ffff:feff:ffff/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:98 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:5786 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:19722 (19.2 KiB) TX bytes:511715 (499.7 KiB) xenbr0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF inet6 addr: fe80::200:ff:fe00:0/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:5793 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:6 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:438350 (428.0 KiB) TX bytes:468 (468.0 b) 'iwconfig' command: lo no wireless extensions. vif0.0 no wireless extensions. eth1 no wireless extensions. vif0.1 no wireless extensions. veth1 no wireless extensions. vif0.2 no wireless extensions. veth2 no wireless extensions. vif0.3 no wireless extensions. veth3 no wireless extensions. vif0.4 no wireless extensions. veth4 no wireless extensions. vif0.5 no wireless extensions. veth5 no wireless extensions. vif0.6 no wireless extensions. veth6 no wireless extensions. vif0.7 no wireless extensions. veth7 no wireless extensions. peth1 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"cuairnet" Nickname:"fc5laptop" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: 00:13:C4:78:82:C0 Bit Rate:11 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Sensitivity=0/65535 Retry limit:16 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:****-****-****-****-****-****-** Security mode:open Power Management:off Link Quality=39/100 Signal level=-76 dBm Noise level=-90 dBm Rx invalid nwid:20945 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:136 Tx excessive retries:1 Invalid misc:34637 Missed beacon:0 wifi0 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"cuairnet" Nickname:"fc5laptop" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: 00:13:C4:78:82:C0 Bit Rate:11 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Sensitivity=0/65535 Retry limit:16 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:****-****-****-****-****-****-** Security mode:open Power Management:off Link Quality=39/100 Signal level=-76 dBm Noise level=-90 dBm Rx invalid nwid:20945 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:136 Tx excessive retries:1 Invalid misc:34637 Missed beacon:0 sit0 no wireless extensions. xenbr0 no wireless extensions. QUESTIONS: How do I set up wireless or use my physical NIC? What scripts would I configure? Thanks for any help in advance.
