In the introductory chapters in my book, I would like to present some
of the history and philosophy of Xen which led up to the SOSP 2003
paper. Does anyone have any information beyond the paragraph or two
that is in the wiki?

I also want to be sure that I properly characterize the initial
development of Xen. Was it a reaction to some condition or event?

Regards,
Matt Frye
