[Xen-users] cant load root

hello,

at first i compiled scsi drivers to xen kernel (AIC7xxx drivers), but when i
am trying to boot xen, i got errors

VFS: Cannot open root device "sda5" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic - not syncing VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0.0)

i tryed to compile modules to kernel, and made initrd. when loading, it says
loading aic7xxx.ko module and others scsi modules, but got same kernel panic
as before.....

my grub looks so:

title Xen 3.0 / Linux 2.6.16.1
root (hd0,0)
kernel /xen.gz noreboot
module /kernel-2.6.16-xen-r1-dom0 root=/dev/sda5
module /initrd-2.6.16-xen-r1-dom0.img

sda5 really is root disk.

maybe you know solution? thanks
