I cant see anything wrong in the setup, and since it boots without problems with your ubuntu 2.6.12 kernel it *should* also work with the xen 2.6.16. There have been discussions about similar problems and possible solutions in the thread below: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=25938 Btw. did you install the precompiled xen 3.0.2 distribution or did you compile it from source?
