Hi, In addition to our previous reports on the 955X and 945G chipset motherboards... I wanted to report our latest venture. This week we got the ASUS P5MT-M working fine with VT using Gentoo and latest Xen changeset. We used a Pentium D 930. This is a micro-ATX motherboard based on the E7230 that has 4 DDR2 DIMM sockets that supports up to 8GB of RAM. This is better than the 945G chipset boards. We only tested the system with 2GB of physical ram, but do not expect issues with more. As an aside, unrelated to Xen, some cheaper PQI brand RAM we had did not like this motherboard but worked fine on the 955X and 945G motherboards. We switched to a set of Kingston spare RAM we had for such a situation and got past it. We have a new set of 4GB Muskin on order to try out this week. DDR2 DIMM prices have gone up in price since we started this project in December, I hope they come back down... my goal was to try and find 2GB DIMM modules for under $225 each but no luck so far... so we are going to max out with 1GB modules. But at least on the E7230 chipset we should be able to use all 4GB unline the 945G chipset that only allows 3.2GB.
