First off, please don't reply to an existing thread if you intend to create a 
new one, it messes up the thread display in most mail clients.

Then, for your problem: hotplug is statically linked, just removing the 
(dynamic) tls library won't fix things, the application needs to be 
recompiled.

Since that topic pops up again and again, it would be nice if the xen devels 
would add a sentence to the warning above, something like "If you already 
removed the TLS library, the offending application probably needs to be 
recompiled"
