I have a hunch that it is a problem with that particular NIC. The reason 
I asked is that I have a problem on systems with Broadcom rev 10-NICS 
(routed setup works fine though), while the ones with rev 2 works fine 
with bridged setup. I can't change the network card since it's a blade 
server. If yours is a normal (e.g. rack-mount) server, you may have 
better luck trying other NICs.
