I've installed xen3 and asked myself whats better, image files or partions?
I will prefer image files because of the flexible handling, but I've heard that real partions are faster.
LVM's are much better and are very easy to handle as well. I also
started off with images however moved to LVM. As Andy said the snapshot
feature isn't stable as of now.
I also strongly agree with these folk. LVM has significantly
improved performance and responsiveness when I compare domains running
on them to domains running on image files.
