AFAIK the additional ioctls for CD/DVD drives are not passed through from domU, and the size of the blockdevice is only determined once, while exporting it. So basically it should work when there's a dvd/cd in the drive before starting domU, but changing the media and stuff like "eject", "lock tray" etc won't work.
