Hi, Running i386 version LMbench on IA32-EL of dom0 generates many message outputs: # tens of lines per a second (XEN) ia64_handle_reflection: handling regNaT fault Is the check required? I attached the patch that remove printk(). How to reproduce: 1. build LMbench on an i386 machine 2. run par_mem on ia64 cd <LMbench directory>/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu ./par_mem -L 128 -M 16M Best Regards, -- KUWAMURA Shin'ya # HG changeset patch # User KUWAMURA Shin'ya <kuwa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> # Date 1207901130 -32400 # Node ID 6713ab838e777d4a408880ebc4373eb586ef5036 # Parent feee6422144f1a7b9caa91e178244214e8c2e14e [IA64] Remove regNaT fault message Signed-off-by: KUWAMURA Shin'ya <kuwa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> diff -r feee6422144f -r 6713ab838e77 xen/arch/ia64/xen/faults.c --- a/xen/arch/ia64/xen/faults.c Tue Apr 01 11:29:03 2008 -0600 +++ b/xen/arch/ia64/xen/faults.c Fri Apr 11 17:05:30 2008 +0900 @@ -626,8 +626,6 @@ ia64_handle_reflection(unsigned long ifa if (((isr >> 4L) & 0xfL) == 1) { /* Fault is due to a register NaT consumption fault. */ //regs->eml_unat = 0; FIXME: DO WE NEED THIS?? - printk("ia64_handle_reflection: handling regNaT " - "fault\n"); vector = IA64_NAT_CONSUMPTION_VECTOR; break; } _______________________________________________ Xen-ia64-devel mailing list Xen-ia64-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-ia64-devel
