  • List-id: Discussion of the ia64 port of Xen <xen-ia64-devel.lists.xensource.com>

Hi,

I cloned the http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/xen-ia64-unstable.hg tree and
built and installed a fresh xen on a hp zx6000
dom0 is running fine.
But if I try to start domU I get always the error:
 # xm create -c linux1
Using config file "/etc/xen/linux1".
Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/proc/xen/balloon'

Because the config flag CONFIG_XEN_IA64_DOM0_VP is off
the ballon driver is not built and therewith there is no /proc/xen/ballon.
Do I miss some configuration flags or have I installed wrong tools?
Thanks for your help!

Dietmar.
