Due to various holidays, many Xen/ia64 developers are not checking
email this week.  I am not a Debian user so can't determine the exact
problem but if you have the latest binutils, there must be some other
mismatch.  Somehow, "#define HAVE_SERIALIZE_DATA" is happening
even though your assembler doesn't seem to recognize the
".serialize.data" command.  If you can undefine HAVE_SERIALIZE_DATA
everywhere it is used, the build might succeed.  (This shouldn't require
any assembler expertise.)

Several people have successfully built Xen/ia64 on Debian so there
must be something different or special about your build environment.

Hello again! :)

I tryied to update my bin-utils, but it`s updated! :)
So, I look at xen/include/asm-ia64/linux/asm/asmmacro.h. but I don`t know about ASM. :(

Anybody that have XEN/ia64 installed on your Debian can help me?

Thanks!

Hmmm... perhaps you need to update your bin-utils?

As a workaround, look at HAVE_SERIALIZE_DIRECTIVE in xen/include/asm-ia64/linux/asm/asmmacro.h.
All the warnings are harmless if you can avoid that one error message.

Due to build steps changed since the message got posted, you also want
to

      ==> Add "make KERNELS="linux-2.6-xen0 linux-2.6-xenU"  " after
"make world" in XenBuild.sh
==> modify corresponding Xen0 and XenU build paths after the first
Build

By following Kanno's instruction below.
