Sorry, I have a busy day today and am trying to do things
(and handle email) briefly between meetings.

No, but I was using the xen and xenlinux I built yesterday
before that "remove the symbolic ling" changeset.

Yes, and it is checked in.  I also did a re-install of the
tools but perhaps the bad xen-backend.agent resulted in
some other scripts going bad?
