I agree, in fact I need such information to make sure I am tracking the
correct x86 series for the release, as I personally have the idea for Arm
but not x86. Thanks for the input.

Same here, as it is quite late so this series probably is not eligible for 4.17.

Yeah the author mentioned he would make a new thread if he can improve
the patches, that's why the status. But I think in any case this is too late
for the release.
