Hi, I ran into this list looking for a solution for the exact same problem as described here. I'm trying to migrate an existing Windows Server 2016 image to a Ryzen 3900x and encountered the same difficulties. I disabled the processor's SMT feature in the BIOS and now it works perfectly.
