You need to supply arguments like this: -device usb-host,vendorid=0x0d46,productid=0x3003 qemu-system-x86_64 -device qemu-xhci -device usb-host,vendorid=0x0d46,productid=0x3003 libxl needs to be modified to change the arguments. You *might* be able to sneak around it by settings device_model_args=["-device usb-host,vendorid=0x0d46,productid=0x3003"] and dropping the host device from usbdevice. It may need to be device_model_args=["-device","usb-host,vendorid=0x0d46,productid=0x3003"] if spaces in arguments aren't handled properly.
