I'm pretty sure this is the underlying heisenbug we currently have in
-unstable.  It certainly isn't anything to do with
 f83793c2  origin/pretest Toolstack/xl: Wrap a long command
 ea6626f7  guest_prepare_disk: Only do the umount if we set an env var
 fc4bb3d0  cs-adjust-flight: Provide runvar-set-default
so I am going to force push this so I can send the next batch.
