I would prefer if you introduce an helper to compute the MPIDR to avoid open coding in 2 places (DT and ACPI).

This field is has been added with ACPI 5.1 errata, which technically is not ACPI 5.1.

I don't mind if you use it, however it would need a comment to explain that this field had no other meaning before...
