Oddly enough - no. The 11th rune in .gitignore may be doing it:
11 *.bin
But then we also have other:
120 tools/firmware/*.bin
200 tools/tests/x86_emulator/blowfish.bin
243 xen/arch/x86/boot/reloc.bin
Which seem to be pointless - I removed them (and had the files) and
'git status' still didn't register the *.bin files.
