Yes, that's right. I create a EFI configuration manually and directly boot the EFI. This time the cpu cores can be detected. But the mouse and keyboard doesn't work anymore. Some posts say that acpi should be set as http://xenbits.xenproject.org/docs/unstable/misc/xen-command-line.html suggests. I've tried all the four options for acpi, including force | ht | noirq | It seems that ACPI would affect all the hardware devices, including cpu, memory and io. I've already set the bootloader to UEFI directly without grub. What else can I do? jones
