So that we can use the same set of xc_dom_* functions that we currently use on x86 to build PV guests, instead of the crappy setup_guest stub that we have in xc_hvm_build_x86.c. As said in the cover letter, patches 1 to 7 aim at unifying the way HVM and PV guests are created on x86.
