[Xen-devel] How to set "full update mode" in QEMU (in regards to display output)

Following the guide for nested virtualization here:

It states that one option for display issues is to force "full update mode" in QEMU. How is that done? I can't seem to find any documentation on it, and in the QEMU source, full_update isn't a config option.

Does it require a code patch, or is there another way?
