this is something already there. It shows the NUMA affinity for the
domain. E.g., _without_ any patches:

root@Zhaman:~# xl list -n
Name                                        ID   Mem VCPUs      State   Time(s) 
NODE Affinity
Domain-0                                     0  4095    16     r-----      34.1 
all
vm-test                                      1  4096    16     -b----       7.3 
all

root@Zhaman:~# xl list -h
Usage: xl [-v] list [options] [Domain]

List information about all/some domains.

Options:

-l, --long              Output all VM details
-v, --verbose           Prints out UUIDs and security context
-Z, --context           Prints out security context
-n, --numa              Prints out NUMA node affinity

So, actually, we already use both -n and --numa
