I think we are likely to want to ratchet through the 3.12 and 3.13 reasonably quickly in the short term. How about we track mainline releases but not stable releases and instead cherrypick fixes we need and merge new uptream versions when we want to climb up? That would keep the tree non-rebasing. In that case I'd call it linux-arm-xen in the hopes that one day it can be replaced by a linux stable branch.
