Did you use the patch that Jan posted?

That is a different issue. That is the kernel, while the outstanding
issue in regards to suspend/resume is in the hypervisor.

which ought to be fixed, but lets concentrate on one thing at a time.
If you use the patch that Jan posted, does it work? And I presume
you also have the two out-of-tree patches to make resume work in the
dom0?
