If you have successfully installed a guest and run "xm list" then xend
is already running so you do not need to start it again. Your second
command and the resulting message seem inconsistent to me, perhaps they
are not the literal cut-and-paste of what happened?

In general questions regarding configuration and setup issues are more
suited to the xen-users@ list. xen-devel@ is for the discussion of the
development of Xen and reporting of bugs once it has been established
one exists. I have changed the CC line appropriately and moved xen-devel
and info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to BCC.

Lastly, rather than repeating the same question over and over please
consider reasons why it may not have got an answer, e.g. what
information you might be missing in order to allow someone to help you,
and try to improve the information which you give. You may find
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Asking_Xen_Devel_Questions or
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Reporting_Bugs_against_Xen helpful for this as
will targeting the correct audience (i.e. list).
