I ran into a couple of issues trying to install a FC16betaRC2 domU https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708267 DIssapointing to read in the comments that the domU installation release blocker criteria might be dropped from Fedora :-( Even after I "hand-crafted" a domU (copied partitions from a baremetal FC16 install into an LVM PV) it wouldn't boot due to pygrub expecting /boot/grub/menu.lst rather than /boot/grub2/grub.cfg, so I hand-crafted one of those too, it boots but udev seems to dislike some USB devices embedded on the PCIe card I've passed through to the domU (PCI cards seem happy). Also the dom0 is very slow to reboot or poweroff, seems systemd related, it appears to want to unmount a sys/xen (?or similar?) mountpoint and keeps attempting this in with all the other closedown actions. I also found a few ways of triggering bugchecks when using PCI passthrough, I'll log BZs later for these when I have a serial console hooked up again (not forgotten about upstreaming my grub2 helper patch either) _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
