Actually, it looks like I erroneously slipped in a change that wasn't meant to go upstream (I just need this locally so that I can run several Xen versions in parallel directly out of their build directory): The patch adds $(DESTDIR) to the front of each variable, and that is what triggered my consolidation attempt (so a change like this wouldn't have to applied to each line, but just once). I had been carrying this change for years, so when I noticed I could send it upstream, I forgot about that particular aspect. Apologies; will send a fixup patch in a minute.
