[Xen-devel] Update and uninstall of xen 4 question

make uninstall of xen-unstable with kernel default (2.6.31.6 pv_ops) not
remove the kernel (not contain xen on name vmlinux, initrd, lib/modules ecc)

is possible update to new version from source with mantain all config? (or
merge or tell about change and backup)
