I need to do some more protected-mode emulation anyway, to correctly handle realmode to protmode transitions on VMX, where I cannot vmenter while I still have real-mode selector values in CS and SS. So I will consider your LTR emulation as part of that -- I don't really want to do it with a specific ->ltr() hook. Overall though, more accurate virtualisation/emulation is a good thing to strive for, so I'll check in as much of your code as I think is reasonable at this point. Thanks!
