Every xenstored transation creates and destroys a tdb file, causing synchronous operations to the remote NFS server. It’s no wonder it sucks, although 4 seconds is surprising! -- Keir On 14/9/07 22:01, "Stefan Berger" <stefanb@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: A couple of those ~4 second transactions are occuring and it adds up to > 40 seconds. I still find it surprising that xenstore internally needs so much more time when running via NFSRoot. When run on ramfs the xenstore transaction all occur in less than one second. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
